SERVICES
DESIGN
River City strives to provide elegant, harmonious solutions to meet clients’ functional and personal requirements. Projects are developed with careful consideration of the site, solar and wind orientation, the integration of building systems, and the economical use of materials to create moving spaces with a streamlined, modern aesthetic.
CONSTRUCTION
River City has worked on both residential and commercial projects allowing for the chance to crossover different materials and methods for a wide range of solutions. Jobsite safety, adaptability, and the efficient use of materials are always priorities. Past projects have involved the use of reinforced concrete, wood framing, metal framing, metal buildings, tile, drywall, electrical and lighting, as well as HVAC and mechanical.
CODE RESEARCH
Feasibility Studies and Code research have become an increasingly useful tool in the development process. City Zoning ordinances are often quite complex and are regularly amended. It is helpful to find out as many particulars about the site and any possible restrictions before purchasing real estate or starting construction.
River City has years of code research experience in many different municipalities including: Austin, Ft. Worth, Cleburne, and Bee Caves in Texas, Miami and Bal Harbour in Florida,
and the City and County of Honolulu in Hawaii.
3D MODELING
3d modeling can be a useful tool for architectural design and presentation because it offers a way to visualize the built environment with shadows and daylight, massing, color, and even texture. But the same software, coupled with 3d printing, waterjet, or plasma cutting technology can quickly fabricate complex shapes in a wide range of materials.
MEASURED DRAWINGS
An important early step in most re-development projects is to document and evaluate the existing conditions with measured drawings, photos, and supporting documents. The existing site and buildings must be clearly defined not only for a smooth construction process, but also to establish limits of construction and setbacks. Often, existing construction details must also be documented as a basis for integrating new systems. Accurate measurements and notes are taken in the field and then transfered to CAD drawings.
